James Hartman & Associates draws on the diverse talents of political strategists, graphic designers, professional fundraisers, experienced advertisers and photographers to meet every client’s needs on an individual basis. Each client is treated differently because each client has different needs. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to campaigning, advertising or non-profit growth.

Staff Biographies

 

 

James Hartman James Hartman, the company’s founder and CEO, is based in New Orleans and drives the company’s vision for high-quality products to serve a diverse clientele. He is a native of Washington, D.C., with a degree in sociology and English from Tulane University. He has served as an adviser and strategist for local, state and federal offices, and for conservative candidates in the former Soviet Bloc.
Ryan Matthew Mahoney Ryan M. Mahoney, based in Augusta, Georgia, is the company’s managing partner, overseeing day-to-day operations and masterminding research and strategic components of various projects. Ryan  holds a degree in political science from the University of Southern Mississippi.
  Amber Griffith, based in New Orleans, handles graphic design and web projects for the company’s diverse clientele. With a degree from the University of Arkansas and experience in website development, graphic design and photography, she brings high-quality graphics services for direct mail, print publications, and web-based marketing.
Philip Agnew, based in New Orleans, is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University, where he earned a B.A. in business administration with a concentration in economics, and a minor in management. Philip handles campaign logistics and fundraising, in addition to developing strategic plans for political and non-profit clients.
Collin Eley Collin Eley, based in Covington, is a graduate of LSU where he studied business, communications and sociology. An experienced and savvy political operative, Eley primarily manages field operations for political clients and is a veteran of several successful campaigns.
Ray Sutherlin is graduate of LSU with extensive experience in advertising. Ray’s skills in media placement and marketing strategy provide the firm with expertise that is beneficial to clients in all sectors and markets.
